In addition to the spring celebration, we had a second week of celebrations in the fall (November 4-10) focused on engaging students at schools, libraries, and after-school programs. 2019 was the first year that two celebrations were held with a special Educator Kit created just for this second week!
KidLit TV’s CREATOR CORNER – 100 three-to-five minute videos of children’s book authors and illustrators speaking about their favorite character creations. Was released throughout 2019.
An original twelve-artist collaborative poster, was revealed in stages throughout 2019, with some of the biggest children’s books illustrators.
Our partners created books and reading lists for young people to celebrate 100 Years, 100 Lists.
