Brimming with curiosity and fun, this year’s resources by beloved authors and illustrators are ready to print and share! There is something for every reader, no matter how young or old, in this year’s materials. Explore fan-favorite bookmarks, the return of a Children’s Book Week classic resource, the reading log, poems and riddles sure to inspire, and two amazing comic strips, all highlighting this year’s theme, Books: Get Curious!
For a curious reader, a good bookmark is a necessity! This year, Natasha Donovan (Hachette Book Group / Workman Kids) shines a light on her curiosity about the natural world, while Jessie Sima (Simon & Schuster) takes young readers to the skies in a larger-format bookmark perfect for picture books.

Help young readers keep track of the books they love and the things they are curious about with these reading logs with covers created by Mariana Alcántara (Tapioca Press), Lian Cho (HarperCollins Children’s Books), Tini Malina (NorthSouth Books), and Diego Vaisberg (Sourcebooks). Check out these printing instructions and give one to every reader you know!

In a new resource addition for 2026, Chanté Timothy (Nosy Crow) and Jose Pimienta (Random House Children’s Books) each created a comic to enjoy! Chanté’s kid scientist will have young readers clamoring to do an experiment, while Jose’s comic highlights a book’s superpower to show you new worlds.

Poems and riddles are a wonderful way to spark curiosity. Three amazing writers contributed their original work this year for kids and teens. Meg Eden Kuyatt (Scholastic) shares an ode to books and the joy of asking questions. Dr. Judy Staveley’s (Science, Naturally!) encourages curiosity with a riddle on an unlikely topic. Laurel Snyder (Chronicle Books) offers a remedy for boredom with one poem and asks us to consider a book’s perspective in another.
