As an annual tradition of Children’s Book Week, esteemed children’s book illustrators are chosen to create bookmarks and other activities that celebrate kid lit and reading. Artists from all over the country have contributed their beautiful and inspiring artwork embracing the theme, An Ocean of Stories.
NEW THIS YEAR: Children’s book authors have also shared their talent in honor of Book Week with five amazing poems/riddles and five story starters. Kids can collaborate with these popular artists and add to the Story Ocean by finishing the stories they have started, reading the poems, and writing their own!
This year’s illustrators are Tamisha Anthony (Penguin Young Readers), Reggie Brown (Scholastic), Sally Deng (Chronicle Books), Emmanuel Guerrero (Flying Eye Books), and Zahra Marwan (Bloomsbury Children’s Books).
These bookmarks are available to print and distribute to children, teens, and book lovers everywhere! Click on each image, then use the right click of the mouse to download, and then print that bookmark or download all here. Learn more about these amazing artists and their books..
