Every Child a Reader has joined forces with Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company, and Dav Pilkey, the bestselling author and award-winning illustrator of Dog Man, to bring fun materials and up to 50,000 free books to communities across the country for Children’s Book Week this fall, November 3-9.
While the sign up window to receive a “Power Up With Reading” kit is now closed, all of the materials will be available online to download and print in early September! And the Dog Man and Friends Get Caught Reading poster will be available to order in 2026.
