Jason Reynolds Events and Appearances

Every Child a Reader and the Library of Congress are honored to work with Jason Reynolds during his extended term as the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. In 2022 Jason will visit rural locations in-person for the first time during his tenure.

In addition to touring in-person, selected locations will have the exciting opportunity to utilize Short Édition’s innovative Story Cube and Short Story Portal, to boost reading for fun and provide a medium to voice creativity for all students.

You can read more about Jason’s spring tour and our work with Short Édition here.

We are no longer accepting proposals for Jason Reynolds appearances in 2022. Please stay tuned for the announcement of our 8th National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature who will begin their term in January 2023.

Watch Jason’s inspiring appearances on CBS Sunday Morning and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. And watch Jason’s closing Celebration for National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
